• Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Downtown Carrollton Station Saturday for Story Time at C Square Café, sponsored by the Carrollton Train Depot Foundation. This monthly story time for children is held on the first Saturday of the month from 9-11 a.m. Some months will feature a small train display from one of the model railroad groups. The C Square Café is located at 1101 S. Broadway St. in Historic Downtown Carrollton. Information: www.cityofcarrollton.com. • Ride the DART Rail Red Line to Dallas Zoo Station Saturday night for the Safari Nights evening concert series featuring live music, extended hours and a chance to mingle with some of the Zoo's wildest stars. For eight consecutive Saturday nights, visitors can embrace a blend of nature and live music on the zoo's shady Cat Green. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Stars from the zoo's Animal Adventures outreach program also will make special presentations, along with a special SOAR, A Festival of Flight show. The summer concert lineup, arranged through a partnership with The Kessler in Oak Cliff, includes The Killdares on Saturday, June 7. The concert is FREE with the price of Zoo admission and begin at 7 p.m. Food will be available for purchase, along with soft drinks, cold beer and wine. Information: www.dallaszoo.com.
