Students Invited to Show How They Use DART Through Their Art

student art graphic Attention budding artists…DART is inviting you to put your artistic skills to the test in the 2018 Student Art Contest. “Oh, The Places DART Goes” is the theme and entries are being accepted through Feb. 28, 2018. Kindergarten through 12th grade students will compete for a $1,000 grand prize and the opportunity to have their artwork featured on DART buses and inside trains. Other prizes will be awarded to first place winners and runners-up in different grade-level categories. All winners' artwork will be exhibited at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA). Here are the guidelines:
  1. Designs must be original work created by the student and should illustrate this year’s theme. Limit one entry per student.
  2. Entries must measure 11x17 wide, and the design should be laid out horizontally. The back of the entry should include the student’s name, contact email and phone number, grade level, school name and teacher’s name.
  3. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. Participants can mail their art to:
