Original entry:
Although work to restore service to the full light rail system is ongoing, we will not be able to operate the full system Monday morning. We were making good progress, but the ice fog that started coming in Sunday night caused the overhead power lines to re-freeze. We are operating trains through the night to attempt to clear them as we continue recovery work on other parts of the system.
We will attempt continue expanding the coverage area, but this is what we plan to have available at the start of our regular morning service. This will be a mix of bus and light rail.
DART Rail will operate on a regular schedule as follows:
• Red Line:
Westmoreland to LBJ/Central Complete Service
• Blue Line: Ledbetter to LBJ/Skillman
• Orange Line:
Bachman to LBJ/Central Complete Service
• Green Line:
Buckner to Bachman Complete Service
Bus shuttles will serve the other stations not reached by DART Rail. Each shuttle will serve the stations listed. At each station board at the red Rail Disruption Shuttle Stop sign. These buses should display the destination on their header signs. Click
