Foodies, ready your stomachs! World Food Championships are coming to town for five solid days, Nov. 9-13. The “championships” are a series of competitions divided into rounds and finals. Top chefs go to the mat and compete for their share of $300,000. There are ten categories including BBQ, Bacon, Burger, Dessert, Rice/Noodle, Sandwich, Seafood, Steak, Soup, and Vegetarian.
The event features over 20 special tasting events, plus 31 exhibitors offering samples. You’ll also find numerous opportunities to see some awesome cooking demos. Catch the championships starting Wednesday night, at Centennial Hall at Fair Park. To get there, take the Green Line to Fair Park Station. Victory never tasted so good!
