Revolution: The Music of The Beatles features the Dallas Symphony Orchestra paying tribute to everyone’s favorite band from Liverpool. The multimedia performance includes hundreds of rare photos, video and animation. Expect to hear all-time faves like “Ticket to Ride,” “Get Back,” and “Hey, Jude”. Catch the performance at the Meyerson Symphony Center, a few blocks from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines.

Matt Bergman has performed his versatile comedy on Gotham Comedy Live, Comedy Central, and Dry Bar Comedy. Tonight, he brings his act to the Dallas Comedy Club near Elm and Hall streets – right around the corner from Baylor University Medical Center Station on the Green Line.

A Gathering of Dances is a production of Millermuller Ballet. The ballet features Raelene Mariel, Ada Palacios, and the Rockwall Ballet Company. Catch the performance at the Plaza Theatre, a short walk from the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

The Continual Struggle: The American Freedom Movement and the Seeds of Social Change documents the civil rights movement. The exhibit of 25 works by artist Brian Washington tells the powerful story of our nation’s struggle for equality. The exhibit is at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, served by Bus Route 442. The bus departs from SMU/Mockingbird Station on the Red, Blue and Orange lines.

Sunday, Jan. 30

Sightings: Olivia Block features a newly commissioned work at the Nasher Sculpture Center. The artist/composer has created a sound installation made of recordings of Harry Bertoia’s sounding sculptures. Attendees activate the sonic experience with motion; the effect is complemented by silhouettes and other visual elements. You can experience the installation through Apr. 24. The Nasher is a few blocks north of St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines.
