See the performance this Friday night only at the Eisemann Center, right across the plaza from the Red Line’s Galatyn Park Station.
Shen Yun features classical Chinese dance along with animated backdrops and original orchestral works. The multimedia performance draws on 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture. Saturday, Dec. 30-Sunday, Dec. 31

Lone Star NYE at Reunion Tower is the annual pyrotechnic blowout in downtown Dallas, with fireworks high above one of Dallas’ most iconic structures. The 360-degree, panoramic spectacular lights up the Dallas sky starting just before midnight. The streets of downtown are prime viewing real estate, and there should be plenty of fun happening throughout the neighborhood. West End and Akard stations, on all four DART Rail lines, are both good bets. EBJ Union Station on the Red and Blue lines puts you a bit closer to the action.
Casino Night NYE Party is Fowling Warehouse DFW’s second annual New Year's Eve Party. In addition to poker, blackjack, and roulette, the event includes a champagne toast, balloon drop, giveaways, party favors, casino, photo booth, DJ, a cash bar, breakfast tacos at midnight, plus fowling – a mash-up of football and bowling. The event takes place at 1714 14th St. in Plano. That’s served by Bus Route 247; keep in mind that the last buses back depart between 12:10 and 12:40 a.m.
