Spring Celebration features Dallas Black Dance Theatre's multifaceted artists, joined by special guests The DASH Ensemble. The joyful program showcases the company’s passion and finesse. Experience it at the Wyly Theatre, walkable from Peal/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, as well as from the M-Line trolley.

Friday, May 17-Sunday, May 19
Wildflower Arts & Music Festival takes place all weekend long, with a profusion of musical acts, exhibitors, and vendors. Randy Rogers Band headlines on Friday; Niles Rogers & Chic top the bill on Saturday; and Sister Sledge closes out the festival Sunday. There are also street performers, craft beer gardens, and a kids’ zone. The festival takes place at the Galatyn Park Urban Center, as well as inside the Eisemann Center, near the Red Line’s Galatyn Park Station.

Texas Frightmare Weekend celebrates all aspects of horror films. There are panel discussions, autograph signings, and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country. Celebrities in attendance include Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Juliette Lewis, Jason Patric, and many others. It all takes place at Irving Convention Center, served by the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.

’til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts and film screenings. You can also take tours and view the permanent collection and special exhibitions. You’ll find bar service and food for purchase, as well. Tonight, Bryce Bangs and two other acts perform, followed by a screening of The Notebook. The Nasher Sculpture Center is walkable from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Footloose is a live musical featuring dynamic new songs along with the hits from the classic 1980s movie. Celebrate the exhilaration of youth through June 2 at The Firehouse Theatre. That’s walkable from Farmers Branch Station on the Green Line.

P1Harmony comes to Dallas in support of their new album, Killin’ It. Catch the K-Pop group at the Music Hall at Fair Park, easily walkable from the Green Line’s Fair Park Station.

Four Weddings and an Elvis tells the tales of four matrimonies in a Las Vegas wedding chapel – some of whom are married by the King himself. See the comedy through June 22 at Pocket Sandwich Theatre, walkable from Downtown Carrollton Station on the Green Line.

Plano Symphony Orchestra presents the inaugural concerts of the Women Composer Series, featuring the world premiere of New Oceans by Dallas-based composer Olga Amelkina-Vera.
