Spark! Dallas presents its second Prismatic Art Pop-Up Experience, featuring 28 local high school students’ artistic creations. The exhibit is organized into several themed areas in singular color schemes. Check the performance out through Sept. 29 at South Side on Lamar. The venue is just a block from Cedars Station on the Red and Blue lines.

The 35th Texas Black Invitational Rodeo is a family-fun rodeo featuring African American cowboys and cowgirls competing for cash prizes in bronc and bull riding, calf and steer roping, barrel racing and more. There are also on-field kids’ activities and an intermission performance by Dallas TikTok sensation Chocolit Tye. The event takes place at Fair Park Coliseum, a short walk from the Green Line’s Fair Park Station.

The Basically Beethoven Festival, now in its 43rd year, includes three chamber music concerts featuring many of Dallas’ top musicians. “Grand Pianos” features performer Eldred Marshall and rising star Noah DeGarmo. The performance is at 2:30pm at Moody Performance Hall. You can walk there from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.
