The Dallas Symphony Wine & Food Festival celebrates local food.

• Friday: Wine Down Dinner is a multi-course dinner prepared by Dallas’ top chefs, expertly paired with wine.
• Saturday: Grand Tasting lets you sample bites from more than 15 Dallas restaurants, as well as more than 40 wines.
• Sunday: Bubbles & Bunch Bites provides mimosas, Bloody Marys and, of course, brunch.

The festival happens at the Meyerson Symphony Center, walkable from Pearl/Arts District station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Cinderella kicks off Lyric Stage’s 30th season. The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic enjoyed a successful re-boot on Broadway 10 years ago, and now it comes to the Majestic Theatre. Catch the timeless fairytale by taking any DART Rail line to St. Paul Station accessible by all four DART Rail lines. The venue is a few short blocks away.

Saturday, Aug. 26

Kidz Bop: Never Stop Live Tour showcases the Kidz Bop crew performing today’s biggest hits live on stage. The family-friendly show features new songs, choreography, and special effects. See the performance at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station. You can also take Bus Route 227.

Man with a Movie Camera is a one-time screening of the 1929 documentary classic. The film gives historical context to the current Russian invasion, with an uplifting original score by Montopolis. Don’t miss the screening at Violet Crown Dallas, walkable from Uptown/Cityplace Station on the Red, Blue and Orange lines.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show returns to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon. The show features state of the art lighting and video, pinpoint lasers, gargantuan inflatables and flawless sound. Catch the performance at the Winspear Opera House, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Please Don’t Destroy is a comedy trio made up of Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy. They currently write and make videos for Saturday Night Live, and they bring their live act to The Factory in Deep Ellum. The venue is walkable from Deep Ellum Station on the Green Line.
