Saturday, April 22, is officially Earth Day, but EarthX Expo celebrates all weekend long. From Friday, April 21, through Sunday, April 23, hundreds of exhibitors will gather at Fair Park, along with food trucks, an electric vehicle showcase, and much more. DART also will host a “Music Station featuring Sangeet Millennium Duo at Fair Park Station on Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

How to get there? DART, of course. When you use public transit, you’re doing your part to reduce pollution. (Plus, you avoid traffic and parking.) The Green Line – appropriately enough – is your ride to Fair Park. Here’s how to do it.

  • If you don’t live near a Green Line Station, no worries. There are dozens of Park & Ride rail stations throughout the DART Service area. Parking is free.
  • You have several contactless fare payment options: the GoPass® app, GoPass Tap® card, contactless credit/debit card, or payment-enabled mobile device. GoPass is free in the Apple App Store or Google Play; get GoPass Tap cards at participating retailers. Learn more at GoPass.org
  • Once you’re at the station, just board a train that is headed toward downtown Dallas, and you’re on your way.
  • You can transfer to the Green Line at numerous stations in downtown Dallas where all four lines converge: West End, Akard, St. Paul and Pearl/Arts District stations. From the Trinity Railway Express (TRE), you can transfer to the Green Line at Victory Station. Board the train that says BUCKNER.
  • Get off at Fair Park Station. You’re there!
  • If the platform is crowded when you’re waiting for the train to take you back, spread out a little. People tend to cluster near the front end of the platforms, but you’ll probably have more space toward the rear of the train.

Enjoy 2023 EarthX. Come visit us at the DART booth!
