GoLink provides on-demand DART service on your schedule, similar to rideshare services like Uber and Lyft. DART recently expanded GoLink coverage across the service area by rolling out 13 new zones, bringing the total number of zones to 31!

This includes six zones in the Plano area  East Plano, East Telecom, Far North Plano, Legacy West, North Central Plano/Chase Oaks and South Central Plano. Check out this map to find the zone nearest you.

Plus, DART’s Plano Pilot unlocks travel between the Far North Plano, Legacy West and North Central Plano/Chase Oaks zones. Travel between other zones is not permitted. Click here to learn more about the Plano Pilot.

As you’ll see in this video produced by our friends at The City of Plano, GoLink is great for going out for work or play.

Using a variety of vehicles and service providers, GoLink delivers on-demand DART service to destinations within a particular zone. Each GoLink zone provides service to a rail station or transit center, for connections to DART buses and trains. Click here for complete service information by zone, key destinations and more.

Unlike a traditional bus, GoLink does not operate on a fixed schedule. It’s totally on demand. In other words, you can’t just walk up and get on board  you must book trips in advance. It’s easy to get moving with GoLink, though. Here are the two ways to book a trip:

1. With the GoPass® app

Simply select “Plan” within the app and enter where you want to be picked up and where you’re heading. If GoLink is available for your trip, it will show as an option in your planning results. Then, press the “START BOOKING” button.

2. By calling 214-515-7272

Phone reservations are accepted 4 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily. Only same-day trips are accepted. For the Inland Port Connect zone, call 877-631-5278.

DART also offers two ways to pay for GoLink trips: 1. With a credit or debit card or 2. With a GoPass® Tap card. Your GoLink trip is covered by a valid contactless DART fare purchased using one of these forms of payment. For example, if you have an active DART pass in the GoPass app, your GoLink fare would already be covered by that pass.

Be advised that GoLink does not accept cash fares, paper passes or vouchers on board. However, you can load your GoPass Tap card with cash at hundreds of participating retailers. Learn about available DART fares by clicking here.

Are you ready to explore Plano  and beyond  on GoLink? It’s time to start booking!
