Starting July 27, Dallas Streetcar rides will cost $1. DART’s GoPass app and GoPass Tap card are the contactless ways to pay and ride, while still allowing you to socially distance.

Remember, there are no cash fare options on board the Dallas Streetcar, and no ticket vending machines at its stops. To pay for your ride, either purchase a Dallas Streetcar fare on the GoPass app or tap your GoPass Tap card on the onboard validator.

It’s important to note: If you already purchased a DART Pass, such as a Day Pass or an AM/PM Pass, rest easy. Your pass includes your Dallas Streetcar fare.

Lastly, you’ll need one more thing to ride. As of July 3, DART requires its passengers to wear a face covering while on DART vehicles or properties, in response to the spread of COVID-19. So, don’t forget that, too.

The GoPass app is free to download on mobile devices from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. In addition, you can purchase and add value to your GoPass Tap card at hundreds of retail locations, such as participating 7-Eleven, Tom Thumb, ACE Cash Express and Fiesta Mart stores.
