In the space of a few years, the Riverfront Jazz Festival has become an anticipated local event with diverse music, vendors, shopping experiences and food. Like most events, it was cancelled last year – but it’s back for its fourth installment and DART is the way to get there.

Plan on jazzing up your Labor Day weekend Sept. 3-5 when The Black Academy of Arts and Letters brings some of the best local and national jazz talent to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. Enjoy musical performances from world-renowned artists like Erykah Badu, David Benoit, David Sanborn, and many more. Concerts will take place across three stages, and there will be jazz entertainment at several downtown hotels, as well. Check the website for details.

DART makes it easy to attend the festival. Hop the Red or Blue lines to Convention Center Station, and jazz excellence lies a few steps away.
