Are you over 50 and fit? If so, you should register for the 2019 Dallas Senior Games through Feb. 8. Test your mettle against other area seniors! All ability levels are welcome at the DARTable, Olympics-style event, which takes place Feb. 28-March 10. There are 12 sports represented, and 30 different events you can participate in. Each can be as competitive or as leisurely as you choose to make it. The games will kick off on Feb. 28 with an opening ceremony and non-competitive 1K walk at the Fair Park Embarcadero Building. The celebration is themed "The Moment is Yours!" and you can get there by taking the Green Line to Fair Park Station. Specific events will take place at a variety of locations throughout Dallas. Most are DARTable, including Beckley Saner Recreation Center (Bus Route 522), Fretz Recreation Center (routes 402 and 403), Fair Oaks Tennis Center (Route 582), Harry Stone Recreation Center (Route 164), T Bar M Racquet Club (routes 36 and 486), and Greenhill School (Route 488). Click here for a registration packet, which includes a schedule of events. Whether you’re a serious athlete or more casual in your approach, the 2019 Senior Games promises lots of fun. #DART2SeniorGames
