Transit Driver Appreciation Day is March 18, but the appreciation does not stop there! Throughout March, DART is giving thanks and appreciation to the bus and rail operators who get our riders where they need to go every day.

DART is searching for operators who want to make a difference in the community. As a DART operator, you will help our riders get to their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time so that traveling around North Texas becomes a little easier.

Applying for a position at DART has never been easier. Through November 2023, DART’s Human Resources team will host a monthly job fair at DART Headquarters.

During the job fairs, applicants will be able to talk to HR hiring officials, fill out applications at computer stations, and take part in on-site screening interviews for specific roles like bus and rail operators and mechanics.

This month, the Open House Recruiting Event will be on March 25. All events take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DART Headquarters in the second-floor atrium. Attendees should check in at either the parking garage or first-floor security desk, and staff will escort attendees to the job fair.

DART Headquarters address is 1401 Pacific Ave., Dallas, TX 75202 in downtown Dallas. Applicants are encouraged to use public transportation to get the building, which is located at Akard Station on all four DART Rail lines. DART Bus Routes 306 and 378 both stop at the corner of Field Street at Pacific Avenue, steps from DART HQ. There is on-site parking available in the DART parking garage, and the entrance to the garage is on Akard Street. There are also several paid parking lots nearby.
