Young artists, K-12, have less than a month to submit their entries to the2022 DART Student Art Contest. This year's contest theme is "DART's New Bus Network: Simpler. Better. Faster. Easier!", in honor of DART's recently redesigned bus network that better connects your community and changes the way you move.
Carlos Huerta, Manager of Community Relations and Education, answered some frequently asked questions about the contest on a recent Facebook Live Event.
Winner's artwork will also be displayed at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Love Field airport, and on DART's website, DART.org. Prizes will be awarded to first-place winners and runners-up in each grade-level category.
Students in all grade levels have the option of submitting their entries online. All digital entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at DART.org/ArtContest.
All mailed entries must include a completed entry form (click here to download the entry form in PDF format). Affix the completed form to the back of the artwork. In-person submissions will not be accepted. Entries must arrive no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, and should be directed to:
