Red Line passengers will want to allow extra time for their weekend commutes starting Saturday, May 22, when buses replace train service between the Dallas Zoo and Westmoreland stations.

The rail shutdown will begin at 1 a.m. on four consecutive Saturdays with regular service resuming at 4 a.m. on the following Mondays. The impacted weekends are:

• May 22-23
• May 29-31*
• June 5-6
• June 12-13

* Please note the bus bridge will also be in effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31. Regular service will resume at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1.

Buses will run every 20 minutes between affected stations.

The service interruption will allow TxDOT crews to complete demolition work during Interstate 35E reconstruction. We apologize for the inconvenience.
