DART is gearing up for the Cotton Belt. This expansion project is 26 miles of regional rail line that will connect six North Texas cities and the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. There is a lot of research and input to ensure the Cotton Belt works for our region. That’s why DART is hosting a series of Cotton Belt Open Houses/Public Meetings to review the progress of the Cotton Belt Regional Rail Corridor Project. Open Houses/Public Meeting Here you’ll learn more about existing conditions along the Cotton Belt corridor, and information from the data collection portion of the Cotton Belt project development process. The Cotton Belt Regional Rail Corridor Open House will include displays featuring:

• Updated alignment drawings and station layout
• Results of the Traffic/Grade Separation Analysis
• Identification of existing conditions along the corridor (such as parks, cultural resources or land use)

There will also be time for a presentation and a question and answer session.
