Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will serve as the Summit Host and Sponsor of the Latinos in Transit 2022 Leadership Summit on Sept. 23-24, 2022, at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

The Latinos in Transit 2022 Leadership Summit brings together national, regional, and local transportation leaders and industry partners for an intimate two-day conference. The event will feature breakout sessions, a leadership luncheon, and a state of good repair technical tour at a DART facility.

City of Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Omar Narvaez will provide the Summit's welcome and opening remarks. Veronica Vanterpool, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) deputy administrator, will also be at the event as the Luncheon Keynote Speaker. Nadine S. Lee, DART president & CEO, and Michele Wong Krause, chair of the DART Board of Directors, will also attend.

Founded in 2016, Latinos in Transit was created to promote the advancement and development of Latinos and other minorities in transportation. Membership is made of public and private transportation professionals from across the nation who meet regularly to network, share information, and celebrate the professional development of all members.
