North Texas comes together on Thursday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day. Avoid traffic and parking and let your red, white and blue fly at these DARTable Fourth of July events.

Wednesday, July 3

Kaboom Town in Addison

The 10-acre open space of Addison Circle Park is hosting an Independence Day celebration described as one of the city's most impressive national Fourth of July celebrations. The event will include an airshow featuring a choreographed skydive, historic warbirds, and stunt pilots in aerobatic planes, culminating in an impressive fireworks display. The event starts at 5 p.m. Addison Circle Park is accessible by Addison Transit Center served by several bus routes.

Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration

Farmers Branch is hosting a family-friendly and safe small-scale fireworks show at the Farmers Branch Historical Park from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Special activities for kids include the Ballistic Swing Ride, Patriotic Hairspray, Balloon Artist, Airbrushed Tattoos, and strolling patriotic and historical characters. Food vendors will also be present, including Nuevo Leon Mex-Mex, Bartley's BBQ, Dallas Grilled Cheese, Luigi's Pizza, and more. Live entertainment from Empire 6 modern pop band will also be playing electrifying beats. Farmers Branch Historical Park is a short walk from the

Green Line's Farmers Branch Station and also accessible by the Farmers Branch GoLink.

Red, White & You in Garland

The city of Garland's Independence Day festivities this year feature live music, family-fun games, a drone show and more!

Happening from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Downtown Garland Square, enjoy the festivities including a musical performance from modern country artist Randall King, renowned for his hits "You In A Honky Tonk" and "Hey Cowgirl," which have collectively garnered over 270 million streams. Downtown Garland Square is accessible by the Downtown Garland station, served by the DART Blue Line.

Irving's Sparks & Stripes

Celebrate a Fourth of July fireworks show over Carolyn at the Irving Sparks & Stripes event happening at Levy Event Plaza from 7 to 10 p.m.

There are several vantage points surrounding Lake Carolyn to enjoy the show. The venue and the lake are accessible by the Orange Line's Las Colinas Urban Center


For the Sensory Sensitive Independence Celebration

The third annal sensory-sensitive Fourth of July celebration at The Sound of Cypress Waters is designed specifically for those with sensory sensitivities. The event, running from 6 to 10 p.m., will feature activities such as face painting, interactive vendor booths, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Petting Zoo, animal education from Creature Teacher, a tribute to Taylor Swift, and more. This event is accessible from DART's Orange Line to Las Colinas Urban Center Station, followed by a short GoLink ride to the event located at The Sound, 3111 Olympus Blvd, Dallas, TX.

Plano Holiday Pops

Plano Community Band Holiday Pops brings patriotic sounds to a day in the park. Don't miss the festivities happening at Haggard Park from 7 to 8 p.m. The park is right next to Downtown Plan Station on the Red Line.

Fair Park Fourth

Dallas renowned Fair Park is hosting a community event this Fourth of July, featuring local market vendors, concessions, live music, entertainment, and activities for kids and people of all ages to participate in. It will also include a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day in classic fashion. The event takes place from 4 to 10 p.m. and is accessible by the Green Line's Fair Park Station

Rowlett Fireworks on Main

Don't miss a fun-filled night for the whole family with live music, food trucks, an extensive kids' area, and - of course - fireworks! The event happens in Rowlett's Main Street, a short walk from Downtown Rowlett Station.
