DARTable Weekend Events

Major Lazer
Posted on Jul 8, 2026 by DART Daily

There’s another week-plus to go in North Texas’ summer of soccer, and the fan festival is rolling right along. On Thursday, July 9, catch the last concert of the festival when Major Lazer brings reggae, dancehall and electronic music to the celebration. Separate tickets are required.

Elsewhere, there are some terrific watch parties going on, such as the ones at Harwood Arms, a British-style pub that is walkable from the M-Line Trolley; and at The Trove, a Mexican tapas and craft cocktail lounge in the Bishop Arts District. It’s easily walkable from the Bishop Arts stop of the Dallas Streetcar.

As always, there are plenty of DARTable non-soccer events to entertain you this weekend. Here is a sampling.

Thursday, July 9-Saturday, July 11

Dulcé Sloan was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and numerous national publications have cited her as “one to watch.” Catch the rising comedian at Punch Line Irving, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.

Thursday, July 9-Sunday, July 12

Monty Python's Spamalot is the popular musical comedy based on the evergreen Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Songs include “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” and “Fisch Schlapping Song.” Broadway at the Center’s production takes place at the Winspear Opera House. That’s walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines.

Friday, July 10

Deliver Us from Mama follows a man whose wife goes into labor with their first child while he’s visiting his meddlesome mother on the other side of the country – and right as air traffic controllers go on strike throughout the nation. Road trip time! See the Company of Rowlett Performers’ high-spirited comedy at Garland’s Plaza Theater, a short walk from Downtown Garland Station on the Blue Line.

Friday, July 10-Sunday, July 12

What She's Having involves three women confronting the messy emotional realities of relationships, friendships, motherhood and life. See it at the Eisemann Center, right across the plaza from Galatyn Park Station.

Saturday, July 11

Main Street Social Saturdays closes off select blocks of downtown Dallas’ Main Street to vehicle traffic, and fills them instead with vendors, food trucks, and live music. You’ll find it a couple of blocks from Akard Station on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines.

Dude Perfect presents an immersive evening of larger-than-life battles, trick shots, and over-the-top challenges. Enjoy the family fun at the American Airlines Center, served by Victory Station on the Green and Orange lines, as well as the TRE.

Young the Giant supports their new album, Victory Garden, at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. Take the Orange line to Irving Convention Center Station and walk to the venue.

Sunday, July 12

The Dallas Wings take on the Chicago Sky at the American Airlines Center. Get there by taking the Green or Orange line to Victory Station. The TRE also serves the station.
