Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is the ultimate immersive, interactive adventure. The event gives longtime Minecraft players their first chance to be heroes in a real-life, in-person Minecraft quest. Battle mobs, collect resources, and experience Minecraft in a whole new way. The first-ever Minecraft Experience takes place through Jan. 5 at 2712 North Central Expressway in Plano – that’s immediately west of Parker Road Station on the Red Line.

’til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts, progressive tours, and film screenings – along with the permanent collection and special exhibitions. There is also food and bar service.  Tonight, enjoy music by RC & Friends, followed by a screening of Inside Out 2. The Nasher Sculpture Center is walkable from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is a murderous romp full of music and laughs. Can the low-born Monty Navarro knock off his unsuspecting relatives without being caught and become the ninth Earl of Highhurst? Find out through Nov. 3 at The Firehouse Theatre, near the Green Line’s Farmers Branch Station.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO comes to Dallas as part of the band’s final tour. See the ’70s legends at American Airlines Center. Get to the station by taking the Green Line, Orange Line, or TRE to Victory Station.

Vignette Art Fair is a two-day, juried event exclusively featuring works by Texas women. The exhibition-style fair takes place at Dallas Market Hall. You can walk to the venue from Market Center Station on the Green and Orange lines.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is one of the most popular singers in his native Pakistan. He has played Wembley Stadium in the U.K. and collaborated with Eddies Vedder. He takes the stage tonight at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. That’s walkable from Irving Convention Center Station on the Orange Line.

Plano International Festival is a multicultural day of music, dance, art, ethnic food trucks, cultural displays and performances. It all takes place in Haggard Park, right next to Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.

Saturday, Oct. 19-Sunday, Oct. 20

Dallas Fan Festival offers the ultimate playground for fans of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming. Highlights include celebrity photo ops and meet-and-greets, opportunities to interact with legendary comic book creators, a one-of-a-kind shopping experience and family-friendly cosplay. The fan festivities all happen at Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.

Sugar Skull: A Dia de Muertos Musical Adventure lets you step into a vibrant world of music and magic. The event is a bilingual/bicultural journey for young audiences and families that uses traditional regional music and dance from Mexico to tell the story of twelve-year-old Vita Flores. Experience it at the Eisemann Center. The venue is right across the plaza from Galatyn Park Station.
