Shakespeare in Love is a play adaptation of the film. In 1593 London, William Shakespeare is fresh out of ideas, but finds his muse in a wealthy merchant’s daughter with thespian dreams of her own. See the performance through March 2 at Granville Arts Center – right next to Downtown Garland Station on the Blue Line.

Laughter on the 23rd Floor takes place in the writing room of a television variety program in the 1950s. Based on playwright Neil Simon's own experiences as a staff writer for Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows, the play finds the overworked writing team trying to outdo each other with quick- witted repartee. The play runs through March 29 at Pocket Sandwich Theatre, walkable from the Green Line’s Downtown Carrollton Station.

Fate Complete  is a dark comedy set in the 1960s. It concerns a woman who made it big in the movies, only to give up her status as a top star to be with the love of her life, a well-established movie executive. Catch Ochre House’s latest play through March 1. The theater is a very short walk from Fair Park Station on the Green Line.

Experience the Tony Award-nominated musical at The Firehouse Theatre, a short walk from Farmers Branch Station on the Green Line.

Most Likely Forever Yours is a sketch comedy revue created by Dallas writers and performers who trained at legendary comedy venues like Second City, The Groundlings, I.O. Chicago, and The Annoyance. It’s like a very fast-paced episode of Saturday Night Live. The production is part of AT&T Performing Arts Center's Elevator Project.
