Justin Willman is a magician and comedian known for his Netflix series, Magic for Humans. His skills as a magician are truly mind-boggling, and he brings his act to the Majestic Theatre tonight. The venue is a short walk from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines.
Tejas Dance Presents MahAmAyA showcases Bharatanatyam, one of the classical Indian dance forms featuring untethered stomps, intricate expressions, and enchanting stories. Using a dramatic collection of narratives and athletic movements, Tejas Dance brings this tribute to Indian culture to Strauss Square in the Dallas Arts District. The square is walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Gateway to the Globe is a multicultural celebration promoting world geography and the traditions and cultures of the residents of Farmers Branch. The event has exhibits, foods, and diverse cultural performances. The celebration takes place at Farmers Branch Historical Park, accessibly by Farmers Branch GoLink or walkable from the Green Line’s Farmers Branch Station.
Texas Forever Fest is a free celebration for all ages with live music, entertainment, activities, food, drinks, and vendors – all with a Texas twist. There’s plenty of live music, of course, including headliner Wade Bowen. The festival happens in Haggard Park, right next to Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.
The U&I Dash is a 5K and a 1-mile race through the Dallas Arts District, followed by an art and music festival later in the afternoon. Come have fun and show your support for U&I at Klyde Warren Park. You can walk to the park from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines. The M-Line trolley takes you right there.
Cliburn Passion is another world-premiere composition presented by Irving Symphony Orchestra. That’s followed by a superb piano performance by Van Cliburn Medalist Dmytro Choni of Ukraine. He’s backed by the full orchestra; featured works are by Chopin and Dvorak. See the performance at Irving Arts Center. Get there on Bus Route 229, departing from the Orange Line’s Dallas College North Lake Campus Station.
DBDT: Encore! transcends borders and boundaries in a display of contemporary modern dance. Dallas Black Dance Theatre takes you on a journey that explores grace, athleticism, and artistry. Experience the performance at Eisemann Center, right across the plaza from Galatyn Park Station on the Red Line.
