Friday, June 3

Karaoke Night at McCall Plaza invites you and your pipes to Plano for karaoke under the stars. The event is free, and there will be beverages available from the Fillmore Pub. Afterward, stick around to check out the restaurants, bars and shops of the Downtown Plano Arts District. McCall Plaza is just across the street from Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.

Friday, June 3-Saturday, June 4

Cedars Neighborhood Summer Art Show includes local artists from Tin Ranch Studios, Artists@1808, Heritage Village Artists, Gano Street Studios, Ro2 Art Gallery, The MAC, and Cedars Union. The event also features food and beverage from Distinctive Vines Wine Lounge, Four Corners Brewing Company, Lee Harvey’s and Lorenzo Hotel. It takes place throughout the Cedars neighborhood, walkable from Cedars Station on the Blue and Red lines. 

Taste Addison brings all the best Addison eateries to one place. Get samples or full meals, and check out vendors selling crafts, jewelry, and more! For the kids, there are games, a petting zoo and other fun activities. There’s also plenty of live music, including headliners Sean Paul on Friday and Stone Temple Pilots on Saturday. The event happens at Addison Circle Park, a short walk from Addison Transit Center on numerous bus routes.

Dreamhack Dallas is a gamer’s paradise, with notable gamers and awesome technology in a festival atmosphere. The event features Intel® Extreme Masters Dallas (CS:GO). Get your game on at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, served by Convention Center Station on the Red and Blue lines.

Saturday, June 4 

Culture in the CORE features a variety of international cuisines and vendors, plus multicultural dance and music. You’ll find vendors selling items from around the globe, plus lots of culturally diverse art. The festival takes place at Downtown Richardson, 103 S. Interurban Street. It’s a few blocks from the Red Line’s Spring Valley Station, but it’s a straight shot up the Central Trail from the station to the event.

Saturday, June 4-Sunday, June 5

Dallas Pride is a whole weekend of fun honoring the LGBTQ+ community. It starts on Saturday with the Dallas Pride Music Festival, a family-friendly event with musical and dance performances on two stages, plus more than 200 vendors. There are also bounce houses, face painting, and the Pride Train ride in the Automobile Building at Fair Park. The festival is followed by Dallas Pride’s Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade on Sunday. The parade will encircle the Cotton Bowl with floats, costumes and performers all showing support for the community. It’s all easily accessible by Fair Park Station on the Green Line.
