DART’s annual art contest is a chance for students in grades K-12 to showcase their art on DART and win cash prizes. This year’s theme is “Explore DART’s 13 cities!”
This theme celebrates the communities that DART serves. DART connects North Texas, putting students within steps of the places they want to go. It’s time for them to get on board and explore something new in one of DART’s 13 cities! Want to show them examples of destinations in each city? Go here for inspiration!
Entries should be submitted on heavy paper such as poster, tag or illustration board, and students may use multiple colors of their choice.
Check out the five ways you can help a child make a quality submission!
1. Ensure the entry measures 11” high x 17” wide, formatted horizontally.
2. Include the theme’s wording “Explore DART’s 13 cities!” somewhere in the submission.
3. Incorporate DART into the design in some way, such as using the DART logo, a DART vehicle, a DART facility and/or the word “DART” in the artwork.
4. Affix a completed entry form to the back of the artwork. Click these links for a copy of the form in English and Spanish.
5. Submit artwork by mail or in person to DART Headquarters in downtown Dallas no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Online entries will not be accepted. Send mailed entries to:
