Ride the DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park Station Saturday for the Big Texas Beer Fest. The 2015 event is the fourth-annual and happens April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fair Park Automobile Building, 1010 1st Ave. Last year's festival featured 106 breweries and over 400 beers. BTBF is well-known as the festival to go to for exclusive and rare beers, one-offs and special firkins. Plenty of food is available from one of the many food trucks, or local artisanal food vendors. And while you eat, be sure to listen to local music acts on the outdoor stage. A portion of the festivals proceeds will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Information: www.bigtexasbeerfest.com. Ride DART Bus Route 1, Bus Route 11, Bus Route 19 or Bus Route 21 Sunday to the Oak Cliff Earth Day at the historic Lake Cliff Park, 1200 N. Zang Blvd. Visit with more than 100 different vendors including environmental groups, animal advocates, civic groups, food trucks, artisans,non-profit and for-profit organizations. A butterfly garden highlights a new activity for children and adults to enjoy and the "mutt strutt" is a classic not to miss! The event lasts from noon to 5 p.m. Information: www.oakcliffearthday.com. Find more events like The 9th Annual Dallas International Film Festival on our Rider Insider Online Calendar or in the brochures found on DART light rail vehicles or buses.
