• Ride the DART Rail Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line or Orange Line to Pearl/Arts District Station this weekend for A Christmas Carol. 'Tis the season to be jolly, when the family favorite Dallas Theater Center's production of A Christmas Carol returns to the Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora St. In this delightfully reimagined take on Dickens' enduring classic, featuring Chamblee Ferguson as Ebenezer Scrooge, the audience is surrounded by the actors, with magical ghosts flying above, scary ghosts bursting out of the floor, and snow falling on everyone. Full of traditional Christmas hymns and songs in fresh, toe-tapping musical arrangements, joyful bursts of choreography, and eye-popping, special effects. Appropriate for families. Recommended for ages 8 and above. Information: www.attpac.org. • Ride the DART Rail Red Line or Orange Line to Park Lane Station, then NorthPark Shuttle (Route 702) to The Trains at NorthPark. Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, the exhibit encompasses more than 4,000 square feet of train themed environments, with all the trimmings of the holiday train travel experience - steam engine and coach cars, a ticket booth and a train station as well as interactive features. Cost is $3-$7. The trains are located on level one near Nordstrom's at NorthPark Center, 8687 N. Central Expy. Hours of Operation are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, Noon to 6 p.m. Early Closings: Nov. 26, Thanksgiving Eve, at 6:00 p.m., Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, at 4:00 p.m. and Dec. 31, New Year's Eve, at 6:00 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; Open New Year's Day.
